GlobeRunner22 Sydney, Australia 153174 Underrated 5-star Gem. Best hotel in Amman.

This hotel is an underrated gem. I could not fault anything about this hotel. It is truly a 5-star hotel. The location is not far from Rainbow Street and it is probably the closest hotel to Rainbow Street and the old town. You also have Shoneez, a large supermarket 3 mins walk away. In the other direction, there are plethora of authentic takeaway places to grab food 24/7, more mini marts and other Western chains like Donut King and Crispy Chicken. The location is very convenient and it is in a very safe area, as there are several embassies nearby. I walked out and around at 10pm and didn't feel insecure. The staff are impeccable. I love the gentleman who was always there waiting for me as my car arrived, to pick up my luggage and take it to my room. He set up all my bags in my room perfectly and with a great big friendly smile on his face. The reception staff are courteous, professional and helpful at all times. They even have security at the front gate to greet you as you walk in and out at all hours. Housekeeping promptly services all your needs and as soon as I called them for extra towels etc, they came within minutes with a trolley full of whatever I wanted. The room was extremely large and the bed was gold. The hotel is very new and it is in absolutely perfect condition. There is a gym, a rooftop terrace with a pool. They also have a fantastic restaurant downstairs in the same building and the food is great, albeit pricey but they took my takeaway order and offered to bring it to my room. Service is great and they delivered my food on time and perfectly. Highly recommended and with such personal and friendly service I would return any day. The best hotel in Amman. Love it.

What made our stay even better was the hotel tour guide driver we had Lioy who made the experience amazing and enjoyable

The staff, the food, the hotel. Everything, our tour guide Lioy made it even better cause of his generosity and Pureness. He made it amazing and very very enjoyable.

Nice 4*-hotel, but not really 5*.

Good location, close to 2nd circle in walking distance to downtown. The modern room was big with a separate sitting area and a small kitchen. Common areas and the breakfast restaurant are nice designed and well maintained. The free laundry room (5 washing machines, 3 dryers) is a nice touch.

Cleanliness is not really up to 5 star standard and the quality of the construction work not really up to international standards (especially in the bathroom). The breakfast is not bad, but the hot dishes were mostly cold or lukewarm at around 9am.

The best hotel to stay in when you visit Amman, Jordan.

The room was very comfortable, but even better the staff are very helpful and there is a laundry room for guest use included.

We can not think of anything we did not like.

Worst check-in experience in a 5-star hotel I have Ever experienced.

The reception staff was simply rude! Maintenance requests were not fulfilled despite reporting issues to the shift manager. Had to change a defective shower head myself eventually.

We loved it! The hotel is stunning and staff was wonderful.

Room was huge and gorgeous. The pool and deck were wonderful. The staff was awesome!

It’s silly to say but the only thing that was a bit odd is they offered free do it yourself laundry, which was amazing, but they only sold huge bottles on detergent. Not sure who stays long enough to use even 1/4 of the bottle.

Great place and location.

Great place and location. Rooms were big and well maintained, very clean. Breakfast was excellent. I heard the lebanese restaurant on the property was great but we did not try. Very easy walk to Rainbow street and lots of souvenir shops and restaurants on rainbow street. We enjoyed staying here.

We reached early morning and they welcomed us and upgrade our chosen room to a suite without any charges. A lot of varieties in Breakfast with a good taste. Access to hotel is very easy. In general we loved this place.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional.. The rooms were spacious and super clean.. We had a studio roo

- Spacious rooms, the equipped kitchenette, the comfy sofas and the bed.. - The location is great, close to supermarkets, shops and malls and the view of the city was nice too.. - Prices of room service are good and reasonable.. And there is a mini market in the hotel..

- There was no bathtub in the bathroom which was a huge downer for us.. We normally enjoy soaking in a bathtub after a long trip.. - There was no water hose in the toilet, which is something we were expecting to see in Jordanian hotels (although it was available in the toilets that are in the lobby of the hotel itself).. - Breakfast had very limited options, there should be more variety and fresh food (some of the food was left in the steam pots for too long so it lost the crispiness) the egg omelette was always over cooked.. We didn’t like the breakfast at all actually.. But the tea and coffee options were good..

Hotel's location was great, famous rainbow street is 10...

Hotel's location was great, famous rainbow street is 10 mins walking distance. I guess it is a new hotel when compared to other hotels in Amman so the interior design was nice and the pool area was relaxing as well.

Breakfast was not so good and room service was slow.

Nice stay, staff welcoming but hotel needs to be maintained.

The decor is nice and the staff very friendly and cooperative with your requests.

The first room we were taken too was very dirty, so after complaining they did their upmost to relocate me to another room which was cleaner . We stayed in a room with balcony but the access to the balcony is through the bedroom, which is not convenient or practical. The hotel check in is not good as only two chairs for multiple check in and the carpet smelt really bad. However I must say that the staff are very nice and accommodating. Nice hotel but requires more maintenance, as the upkeep of the hotel is not good, Outdoor furniture very dirty with outdoor lights broken, plants dying require water, ( I personally watered them twice during my stay), wallpaper peeling of near the doors to the patio, etc etc. Overall a nice hotel in Jordan but not 5 star compared to other countries.

Pleasant hotel to start off your stay in Jordan.

Smart hotel, with a lovely roof terrace and pool area with fantastic views across the city. Good location close to a number of restaurants, near to Rainbow Street and walking distance of city centre and the sights. Lovely room with separate living space and small kitchenette, plus the room service we ordered was very good. Little shop downstairs in reception for all the essentials you've forgotten or little treats. Friendly staff who helped book a hammam for us - and including a great welcome by the valet which was a relief after navigating Amman's manic roads and unpredictable driving!

Breakfast was ok, ordering the fresh egg and crepe options from the kitchen were good, although coffee could definitely be improved.
